The PCPA started with just few friends whacking a ball around on the junior tennis courts. But as the pickleball craze swept through the community, our group grew organically. Soon, our casual games transformed into a bustling scene, tournaments on the weekends, organized play, and a system to accommodate the ever-increasing number of enthusiastic players flocking to our courts each week.

Fueled by this passion for pickleball, we didn’t just grow numerically; our ambition did too. Recognizing the need for dedicated courts, we rallied together and presented a proposal to the city council. Our dedication and the undeniable growth of the sport resonated with them, and we secured funding for the construction of brand new courts! This influx of players also necessitated broadening our leadership. We expanded the board to encompass a wider range of skills and perspectives, ensuring we could effectively serve the burgeoning pickleball community of Parker County. Now, our sights are set on becoming a hub for the entire county, and we’re actively working on initiatives to accommodate all of Parker County’s players, from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned veterans.
